The focus of the activities of the Cluster Nanotechnology is on the networking of small and medium-sized enterprises with each other and with universities, universities of applied sciences and publicly funded research institutions. The efficient transfer of R&D&I results into marketable products and the promotion of cooperation aiming at concrete projects, i.e. in the field of nanocarbon materials, play a central role.
The Innovation Forum Carbon – Nano goes Macro is organised by the Cluster Nanotechnology resp. the network NanoCarbon and sponsored by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF). The forum shall stimulate a common technology platform of the two carbon-based high-tech fields carbon-reinforced plastics (CFK) and carbon nano materials and, thus, bundle the high potential in innovation of both technologies in order to develop new functional hybrid materials for the light weight construction.
Further information as well as the online registration (from August 1st onwards) are available on the website carbon.nanogoesmacro.de
Core competencies of the Cluster Nanotechnology, which is managed by the Nanoinitiative Bayern, are the initiation, support and coordination of projects up to complete project management, the support of project proposals and the organisation of customer-specific innovation workshops, seminars and participations in exhibitions.
