OCSiAl is a hi-tech company producing, on an industrial scale, TUBALL™ single wall carbon nanotubes – an advanced additive that improves the properties of base materials. The dominance of nanotubes is related to their exceptional properties, such as superior conductivity to weight ratio, high temperature resistance, strength and length to diameter ratio (>2500). As little as 0.01% of TUBALL™ enables the use of less raw material while producing more high-performance end products. TUBALL™ is an advanced additive, that consists of 80% of single wall carbon nanotubes. Contrary to other conventional additives such as conductive carbon black, carbon or metal fibers, TUBALL™ nanotubes gain traction starting from extremely low concentrations of 0.01% significantly reducing impact on colour, mechanical and rheological properties of materials. Being introduced in material matrix TUBALL™ single wall carbon nanotubes create a 3D network that provides material with uniform and permanent conductivity and enhances its mechanical properties.
TUBALL™ MATRIX is a line of predispersed concentrates to simply handling nanotubes in automotive, petrochemical, oil and gas, healthcare, pharmaceutical, electronics, and other industries. TUBALL MATRIX concentrates provide increased conductivity, enhanced mechanical properties, vivid colors, and better yield and performance in composite materials. OCSiAl offers a variety of solutions for providing superior electrical conductivity to thermosets and thermoplastics, while increasing their mechanical strength. The range includes:
- TUBALL MATRIX 301 for solvent-free epoxy, solvent-free polyester, and solvent-free polyurethane systems
- TUBALL MATRIX 202 for PVC resins and solvent-free phenolic systems
- TUBALL MATRIX 203 for solvent-based epoxy and solvent-based polyurethane systems.
